"The team produce a podcast, which is broadcast to other children at school, and to others around the world, containing a fantastic mix of music, news, chat, messages, competitions and much more."
The Downs FM
is an exciting ICT project, run by children at Downs CE Primary School.
“Making a podcast is something they can be successful at straight away. They can record and listen to themselves, and delete and re-record if there is a mistake. The child has control, and doesn’t feel exposed to the whole class, while the teacher can monitor more effectively how each child is doing”.

"...students work in small groups to create an educational rap about ancient Egypt. After selecting a specific topic of study (such as the Nile River, pyramids, gods, or mummies), students create, record, and enhance a rap in GarageBand. A complete CD of all the raps can be created from an iTunes playlist at the end of the project. This lesson can be used to supplement and conclude any unit of study."
